Hi! I’m Kelly.
This is my story.
I like to think of photography as storytelling with better lighting and no re-writes. My job is to capture the moments that actually happen — the real laughs, the side-eye glances, the split second before someone remembers there's a camera pointed at them.
Fun fact: I originally wanted to be a screenwriter, not a photographer. Life had other plans, but the storytelling instinct never left — it just switched mediums. In 2010, I opened my photography business in New York City, betting on candid, authentic moments over stiff, say-cheese posing. So far, so good.
I'm mostly self-taught, which really just means I skipped the classroom and went straight to the field research. My style has been shaped by every city I've called home — Orlando, Atlanta, New York City, San Antonio, and now Los Angeles — each one teaching me something new about light, people, and how to work a room without anyone noticing I'm working it.
Fifteen-plus years and thousands of sessions later, here's what I know for sure: the best photos happen the moment people forget I'm there. That's the whole trick, really.

I'm a documentary-style wedding and family photographer — my job is to capture your story as it actually unfolds, not as it looks when everyone's holding a pose for six seconds too long.
Full disclosure: I'm camera-shy myself, so I get it. The best images only happen when you actually trust the person behind the lens, which is why I put a lot of effort into making the whole experience calm and, dare I say, enjoyable — not something you have to survive.
I'll bring ideas, guidance, and an eye for light and composition — but the day is yours. No stiff "smile for the camera" moments here. Expect to explore, laugh, and move around like there isn't a camera three feet from your face. From quiet glances to the chaos nobody planned, I'm after the energy and connection that make your story yours and nobody else's.
