Thoughtful, All-Inclusive Photography
Every session, event, and wedding gets the same level of care and intention — whether it's two people or two hundred. My goal is simple: capture real moments and make the whole process easy, enjoyable, and memorable, not something that requires its own support group.
The pricing below reflects a complete, honest experience. No mystery add-ons, no surprise fees buried in the fine print — what you see is what you get.
All sessions include edited images and full print release.

All images are included with every session. Most events deliver 50–75 images per hour; portraits typically yield 90–120 images.

I pride myself in quickly turning around your edited photos. First, I will select and edit the best 20 to 30 images from your event and send them to you 48-hours after the last dance.
In five weeks’ time (usually sooner!), the rest of the photos will be carefully edited and uploaded for your review in your password-protected online gallery. If you would like an album or any other products using your photos, the delivery time for these images will depend on the preparation and printing time provided by the vendor.

Absolutely — I’m happy to share full galleries so you can see how the day unfolds, not just highlight reels. Please click on the ‘Clients’ link above to view all of my client galleries. The ‘Highlights’ section are images that were delivered within 48 hours.

During an event, about 90% of the photos I take are documentary-style candids. Of course, every event involves portraits, but the group portraits I take do not have a forced, ‘formal’ feel. Rather, I think of the process as simply getting the group together for a big hug.
This candid, relaxed feel carries through to my portrait shoots as well – be it an engagement shoot or an executive portrait. With a great location, fantastic light, and a little direction, I let the real you shine through in your photos.

I never use a client's full name, never use a child’s name (first or last), and am happy to change your first name in any social media posts.
If privacy is still a concern and you would like to remain completely exclusive from any and all social media posts, I do understand and can offer you full privacy. This means that your images will not be used on my website or in any social media, and your images will be sent to you through a completely private online gallery. The cost for exclusivity is an additional 25%.

In order to work as unobtrusively as possible as a documentary-style photographer, I do not work with an assistant or a second photographer. I want to and not make you and your guests feel overwhelmed by cameras. If you would like to find out more about the issue, then check out this article which goes into the details of why I choose to shoot alone.

All images come via an online, password-protected gallery and are available in low-res, high-res, and black-and-white formats.

Yes! You have full print release for albums, prints, or gifts — no watermarks, no per-image fees.

First, I always make sure in our initial consultation that all permits and insurance issues are taken care of straight away.
Second, it is my professional duty to always scout out any locations prior to the event. This means that I will be visiting your ceremony and reception venues about two weeks prior so as to approximate the exact conditions of your event. This ensures that I am fully prepared for any lighting or shooting difficulties that may occur on the day of your event. If I foresee any difficulties, I will immediately let you know and make arrangements on my own end as necessary (by bringing in additional lights, etc.). This also gives me a chance to introduce myself to the manager of your venue and makes everything go smoother for the big day.
-
Absolutely! I know how it feels from personal experience to hate having your photo taken. That’s why I always come to each shoot prepared so that you can relax knowing that everything is taken care of from the shot list to the lighting. Further, I always offer my clients clothing and posing tips to help you look your best in front of the camera. During the session, I can also offer a bit of direction — but not so much so that you feel overly directed or posed. I want you to be you, but the best version of you in front of the camera.
